The day started out in the dumps when Gary's basketball team got creamed early this morning. Then we had to try 3 restaurants before we found one that could seat 12 of us. We got home just after lunch and heard the ice cream truck. Gary ran to find $2 for him and Landon, but the ice cream guy never showed. We tried to ride the lawn mower, but the key is lost. Landon finally went to sleep, Gary delved into some kind of art project, and I started picking up sticks in the yard. I tried to light the pile I accumulated after two hours, but typical of the day, it wouldn't light. I gave up, took the matches in, and started to rake in the back yard. About 30 minutes later, I went back around front and Gary had a 20 foot high blaze going!!!! He kept messing with it and was finally able to make it burn! (He must get that from his mawmaw :-) ) From there, we turned our "lemons into lemonade"!!
